Last updated: 12 August 2026

Welcome to Stuff Stop.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Stuff Stop website and your purchase of products from us.

By accessing our website, placing an order or using our services, you agree to these Terms, subject to your rights under applicable South African law.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or placing an order.

1. About Stuff Stop

Stuff Stop is an online retailer operating in South Africa.

Throughout these Terms, the words “Stuff Stop”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Stuff Stop.

The words “customer”, “you” and “your” refer to anyone accessing our website or purchasing products from us.

2. Using Our Website

You may use the Stuff Stop website for lawful personal shopping and related purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Use our website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
  • Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of our website
  • Introduce viruses, malicious software or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or customer information
  • Use automated systems to misuse or disrupt our website
  • Misrepresent your identity when placing an order
  • Use our website in a manner that infringes the rights of Stuff Stop or another person

We reserve the right to restrict access to our website where reasonably necessary to protect our business, customers or systems.

3. Products

We make reasonable efforts to display and describe our products accurately.

However, colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your device, screen settings, lighting and other factors.

Product packaging, specifications or minor design details may also occasionally differ from images displayed on our website where manufacturers or suppliers update their products.

We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that material product information is accurate.

4. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding a product to your cart does not necessarily reserve that product.

In the unlikely event that you successfully place an order for a product that is unavailable, we will contact you and provide an appropriate resolution, which may include offering an alternative product or issuing a refund.

Certain sold-out products may also provide the option to contact us via WhatsApp regarding future availability or ordering.

5. Prices

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices displayed on our website are accurate.

Prices, promotions and discounts may change from time to time.

The price applicable to your purchase will generally be the price displayed when your order is placed, subject to applicable law and the provisions regarding genuine pricing errors below.

6. Pricing and Website Errors

Although we take reasonable care when maintaining our website, errors may occasionally occur.

These may include:

  • Incorrect prices
  • Incorrect product descriptions
  • Incorrect discounts
  • Technical errors
  • Stock availability errors
  • Typographical mistakes

If we identify an obvious or genuine error affecting your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Where appropriate and permitted by law, we may give you the option to proceed with the corrected information or cancel the affected order and receive a refund.

Nothing in this section limits any rights available to you under applicable South African consumer law.

7. Orders

Submitting an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase the products contained in your order.

Your order may be subject to:

  • Successful payment
  • Product availability
  • Fraud and security checks
  • Correct pricing
  • Valid delivery information
  • Any other reasonable verification necessary to process the transaction

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably justified and permitted by law.

If we cancel an order after receiving payment, any amount due to you will be refunded using an appropriate payment method.

8. Payments

Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, including Payfast, depending on the payment method selected.

Payment providers may have their own terms, security procedures and privacy practices.

Stuff Stop does not necessarily receive or store your complete bank card or payment credentials.

Orders will generally only be processed once payment has been successfully confirmed.

9. Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to conduct reasonable verification or security checks where we suspect fraudulent, unauthorised or unusual activity.

An order may be placed on hold or cancelled where reasonably necessary to protect Stuff Stop, the customer or another party from suspected fraud.

We may contact you to verify information relating to an order where necessary.

10. Shipping and Delivery

Stuff Stop delivers using third-party courier providers.

Our standard delivery charge is:

R89 for orders below R1,000.

Standard delivery is FREE for qualifying orders of R1,000 or more.

Our estimated standard delivery timeframe is generally 6–10 business days.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our direct control.

We make reasonable efforts to deliver orders within the estimated timeframe. However, delays may occur due to courier disruptions, weather, high-volume periods, public holidays, transport issues or other unforeseen circumstances.

If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you updated.

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for further information.

11. Delivery Information

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information when placing an order.

Please check your:

  • Name
  • Delivery address
  • Email address
  • Contact number

before completing checkout.

If you discover an error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible.

We will attempt to correct the information before dispatch where reasonably possible, but we cannot guarantee that changes can be made after the order has been handed to a courier.

12. Returns and Refunds

Eligible products may be returned in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy and applicable South African law.

Where a product is returned in accordance with our return requirements, undamaged and complete with all parts and accessories, the customer will receive the applicable full refund of the purchase price of the returned product.

Different rules may apply to defective, damaged, unsafe or incorrectly supplied products.

Please read our Refund & Returns Policy for complete information before returning an item.

13. Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

If your order has not yet been processed or dispatched, we will make reasonable efforts to cancel it.

Once an order has been dispatched, it may need to be handled through our returns process.

Our ability to cancel an order does not affect any cancellation rights you may have under applicable South African law.

14. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, Stuff Stop may offer promotions, sales, special prices or discount codes.

Promotions may:

  • Be available for a limited period
  • Apply only to selected products
  • Require a minimum order value
  • Have specific eligibility requirements
  • Be limited to one use per customer
  • Be subject to stock availability

Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers and discount codes may not be combined.

Specific promotional terms displayed with an offer will apply in addition to these Terms.

16. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may use or link to services provided by third parties, including payment providers, courier companies, social media platforms and other technology providers.

We are not responsible for independent third-party websites or services that are outside our reasonable control.

Your use of a third-party service may also be subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy practices.

17. Customer Reviews and Submitted Content

If you submit a review, comment, photograph or other content to Stuff Stop, you are responsible for ensuring that the content is lawful and does not infringe another person’s rights.

We reserve the right to remove content that is fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, misleading or otherwise inappropriate.

18. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under South African law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Stuff Stop will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We are also not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, provided that this does not limit any mandatory rights or remedies available to customers.

19. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

By using our website, you acknowledge that your personal information may be processed as reasonably necessary to provide our services, process orders and comply with applicable legal requirements.

20. South African Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, exclude or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under South African law.

Where applicable, customers retain their rights under legislation including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002, and other applicable South African legislation.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a mandatory provision of applicable law, the applicable legal requirement will prevail.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, services or applicable legal requirements.

The latest version published on our website will apply from the date indicated at the top of these Terms.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen under applicable law.
