Refund & Returns Policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026
At Stuff Stop, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, please contact us and we’ll assist you with the return or refund process.
1. Returns
You may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order.
To qualify for a return, the product must be:
- Returned in its original condition
- Undamaged
- Complete with all parts, components and accessories supplied with the product
- Returned with its original packaging where reasonably possible
- Accompanied by proof of purchase or your Stuff Stop order details
If the product is returned undamaged and with all of its parts and accessories, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the returned product, subject to this policy and applicable South African consumer law.
Please contact us before sending any product back so that we can provide you with the appropriate return instructions.
2. Change-of-Mind Returns
If you have changed your mind about a purchase, please contact us within the applicable return period.
Where a return is not due to a defective, damaged or incorrect product, the customer may be responsible for the cost of returning the product to Stuff Stop, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
The product must meet the return requirements described above.
3. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
Please inspect your order when you receive it.
If your product arrives damaged, defective, missing parts, or you receive the incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may ask you to provide:
- Your order number
- Photographs or video showing the problem
- Photographs of the packaging where relevant
- A description of the fault or issue
Once assessed, we will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement, repair or refund.
Where Stuff Stop supplied an incorrect, defective or damaged product and a return is required, Stuff Stop will handle reasonable return arrangements as required by applicable law.
4. Products That Have Been Used or Damaged
We cannot accept a change-of-mind return where a product has been materially used, altered or damaged by the customer, except where the return is permitted under applicable consumer law.
Customers should take reasonable care of products while they are in their possession.
Products must also be returned with all components and accessories originally supplied.
5. Missing Parts
Please make sure that all parts, accessories, manuals and other components supplied with the product are included when returning it.
If items are missing from a return, please contact us so that we can assess the circumstances before the refund is processed.
6. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect an eligible returned product, we will notify you regarding your refund.
If approved, the refund will be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Although Stuff Stop may process an approved refund promptly, the time it takes for the money to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.
7. Delivery Charges
Original delivery charges may not necessarily be refundable for a change-of-mind return, except where required by applicable law.
Where a return results from an incorrect, defective or damaged product supplied by Stuff Stop, any applicable delivery or return costs will be handled in accordance with South African consumer law.
8. Non-Returnable Products
Certain products may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return where permitted by law, particularly products that cannot reasonably be resold for hygiene, health, safety or other applicable reasons.
This does not remove any rights you may have if a product is defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or otherwise covered by applicable consumer protection legislation.
9. Cancellations
If you would like to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
If your order has not yet been processed or dispatched, we will attempt to cancel it and process the appropriate refund.
Once an order has been dispatched, it may need to be handled as a return.
10. South African Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights that customers may have under applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002.
Where applicable law provides you with greater rights than this policy, those legal rights will apply.
11. Starting a Return
