Shipping Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026

Thank you for shopping with Stuff Stop. We aim to get your order to you safely and as quickly as reasonably possible.

This Shipping Policy explains our delivery charges, estimated delivery times and what happens if your order is delayed.

1. Delivery Areas

Stuff Stop delivers throughout South Africa using third-party courier and delivery services.

Delivery availability may depend on your location and the ability of our courier partners to service your delivery address.

Please ensure that the delivery address and contact details supplied when placing your order are complete and correct.

2. Standard Delivery

Our standard delivery charge is:

R89 for orders under R1,000.

Standard delivery is FREE for orders of R1,000 or more.

The free-delivery threshold is calculated according to the qualifying order value displayed at checkout.

3. Estimated Delivery Time

Our estimated standard delivery timeframe is generally:

8-11 business days

Business days exclude weekends and South African public holidays.

The estimated delivery period may begin once your order has been successfully processed and prepared for dispatch.

Delivery times are estimates and cannot always be guaranteed.

4. Courier Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

Stuff Stop uses third-party courier companies to deliver orders.

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that your purchase reaches you within the estimated delivery timeframe. However, once an order has been handed to a courier, certain circumstances may arise that are outside of our direct control.

These may include:

  • Courier network delays
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Road closures or transport disruptions
  • High-volume periods
  • Public holidays
  • Delivery-area restrictions
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information
  • Operational disruptions
  • Other unforeseen circumstances

As a result, your purchase may occasionally arrive later than the estimated delivery date.

If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you and keep you updated regarding the progress of your delivery.

We will also assist you in following up with the courier where necessary.

5. Order Processing

Orders are processed after successful payment confirmation.

Processing time is separate from the courier’s actual transit time where applicable.

During exceptionally busy periods, promotions or public holidays, processing may take longer than usual.

6. Tracking & Delivery Updates

Where tracking information is available, it may be provided to you once your order has been dispatched.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the email address, telephone number and delivery address entered when placing the order are correct.

If you notice an error in your delivery information, please contact us as soon as possible.

7. Failed Delivery Attempts

Please ensure that someone is available to receive your order where required by the courier.

If a delivery cannot be completed because the delivery information provided was incorrect, nobody was available to accept the delivery, or the courier could not reasonably access the delivery location, additional delivery charges may apply if the parcel needs to be sent again.

8. Damaged Parcels or Missing Items

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after receiving it.

If your parcel arrives damaged, an item is missing, or you receive an incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide your order number, details of the issue and photographs where applicable so that we can investigate and assist you.

Damaged, defective and incorrect products will be handled in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy and applicable South African consumer law.

9. Incorrect Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address when placing an order.

If you realise that you have entered an incorrect address, contact us immediately.

We will try to update the address if the order has not yet been dispatched. Once an order has been handed over to the courier, we cannot guarantee that the delivery address can be changed.

Additional courier charges resulting from an incorrect address supplied by the customer may be payable by the customer where permitted by law.

10. Lost Parcels

If you believe that your parcel has been lost in transit, please contact us.

We will investigate the matter with the relevant courier and keep you informed of any information or updates we receive.

Where a parcel is confirmed as lost, we will work with you to provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the order.

11. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges applicable to your order will be displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.

Our current standard delivery structure is:

Orders below R1,000 — R89 standard delivery

Orders of R1,000 or more — FREE standard delivery

Any additional or express delivery options offered at checkout may have separate charges and delivery estimates.
